Urpi Gibbons

Biografía: Urpi Gibbons Valdeavellano is an actress and researcher. She holds a Master's degree in Theater Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, where she has been a lecturer in the Faculty of Performing Arts for over ten years. On television, she has been part of the main casts of numerous Peruvian and international telenovelas and series, such as Pobrenovio (Mega Chile/Latina, 2024-2025), Los otros libertadores (Latina, 2021), El día de mi suerte (Movistar, 2019), Mi Esperanza (América TV, 2018), Al fondo hay sitio (2015), Eva del Edén (2004), Qué buena raza (2003), among others. She was widely recognized for her starring role in the series Santa Sarita (ATV, 2002), directed by Michel Gómez, where she portrayed the popular saint Sarita Colonia. In film, she has starred in the feature film The House of Cookies (upcoming) and Illay (Dawn) (Official Selection of the Lima Film Festival 2009 and the Chicago Latino Film Festival 2010). She has also appeared in numerous short films.
