Biografía: Ran Tal (רן טל) is an Israeli documentary director born in 1963. He graduated from the Film Department of the Tel Aviv University in 1994. He is the head of the MFA documentary film program at the Tel Aviv University's Steve Tisch School of Film and Television, and teaches cinema at the Film Departments at Sapir College. He is a co-founder and editor of Takriv (תקריב), an online magazine for discussion and critique of documentary films.
